INFO

In 2011, Anders Petersen spent several weeks working in London's Soho. Immersing himself in its bars, cafés, homes and hotels – he has created a very personal portrait of one of city’s most vibrant areas. This work has now resulted in a book, a co-publication between MACK and The Photographers' Gallery in May 2012.

Anders Petersen (b.1944), one of Sweden’s most noted photographers, is known for his influential, intimate and personal documentary-style black-and-white photography. Over the past 40 years, Petersen has exhibited his work internationally and published more than twenty books. In 2002 he was named Photographer of the Year at the Arles Photography Festival and, in 2007, he was a finalist of the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize.
