This eight-week course provides a thematic overview of the history of photography.
A series of key themes will chart the chronological, social, technological, political, economic and artistic history of the medium. Themes include portraiture, mapping the landscape, documentary practice, exhibitions and the archive and the book.
Led by Roger Hargreaves and held on the Eranda Studio Floor, from 18.30 - 20.00, at The Photographers' Gallery.
This course is organised in conjunction with City Lit.
