Photography Now is for those who want a comprehensive and exclusive insight into the fast-paced world of contemporary photography and its key players in London at this critical juncture in the 21st century.
This course includes private gallery visits, curators’ talks at major public collections, exclusive photographers’ studio visits as well as sessions on collecting and the art market, providing an extensive understanding of the world of photography in London.
Led by writer and critic John Slyce.
This exclusive summer course offers the chance to tour Tate Modern, Tate Britain and the Victoria & Albert Museum photography collections with a curator at your side. It gives access to Christie’s Photography Department where you can handle works first hand and meet the specialists. The course also includes a number of visits to contemporary photographers’ studios and access to private gallery sessions with collectors. There will be an option to join the Director of The Photographers’ Gallery for an exclusive tour of Rencontres d’Arles photo festival at an additional cost. Please enquire for more details.
