This ongoing series of free Thursday evening events invites established and emerging artists/photographers to discuss their work with a specialist in a public environment. All are welcome to attend, partake in the discussion and see new and emerging bodies of work.
This session will be led by Clare Grafik, Head of Exhibitions, The Photographers’ Gallery.
The deadline for this session is Wednesday 27 Feb, 18.00
These sessions are great for those who do not have access to regular feedback and feel they would benefit from some specialist and peer-led critique of their work.
Sessions are not for showcasing a wide range of work, but instead aim to support the photographer to think through particular practical or conceptual challenges related to a specific series or project. Photographers are selected on their work's relation to the background or expertise of the programmed specialist. They will be expected to make a short presentation on their work which will be followed by constructive feedback from the specialist and audience.
To apply email firstname.lastname@example.org with 8 low-res jpegs of your work and a description of why you would like feedback on a particular series or project.
