Group Bookings

Educational Group Visits

For schools, youth & community groups, colleges and universities

The Photographers’ Gallery welcomes independent group visits. Groups of ten or more are advised to book in advance so that we can monitor the flow of visitors, including other visiting groups.

Group visits are limited to 30 people (including group leaders) for a 45-minute visit to the exhibitions. Larger groups will be split into groups of up to 30 or less and allocated separate times.

Our current exhibitions have potentially triggering content including nudity, depictions of violence, and other sensitive matter:

In our Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2024:

VALIE EXPORT
Contains a body of work containing several pictures of the photographers’ genitalia.

Hrair Sarkissian:
Contains a soundscape with disturbing and triggering sounds of excavation of mass graves.

In our Bert Hardy: Photojournalism in War and Peace:

War and conflict
This exhibition contains several photographs taken in Korea & Inchon, Yemen, Bergen Belsen, WW2, Cyprus, The Blitz.

Some of these photographs do show war action scenes, corpses, mistreatment of political prisoners, soldiers and the physical aftermath of conflict and wars in cities or country.

This section of the exhibition is contained in the back room of Floor 2 so there is the option for people to skip this content if they wish to do so.

Social documentary work:

In his social documentary work, Bert Hardy documented scenes of poverty and homelessness worldwide.

Admission is £1 per person including group leaders. Please pay on arrival.
