Photographer Homer Sykes gives a talk about his experiences producing documentary work, street photography, and book and magazine projects during his remarkable 40-year career.
Sykes has produced bodies of photographic work on subjects as diverse a Celtic Britain, the Notting Hill Carnival riots of 1976, youth sub-cultures of the 1980s and many other aspects of social change and everyday life in England since the 1960s. He has published a number of books including On the Road Again, Hunting with Hounds and Shanghai Odyssey, and has had his work exhibited at Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol; Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool; Tate Britain; and the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro.
