This London Alternative Photography Collective exhibition is based on the concept of making images. It includes works in which the process of making is self-evident. It opens on the evening of Friday 2 June and is open during gallery hours over the weekend of 3/4 June.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for visitors to look, learn, experience and reflect on photographic process in a very broad sense. 

Exhibiting artists include: Edouard Taufenbach, Simone Mudde, Diego Valente, Molly Behagg, Alfonso Borragan, Hannah Fletcher, William Britten, Melanie king, John Whapham and Almudena Romero.

The London Alternative Photography Collective was founded in 2013, and is co-directed by artists Melanie King, Almudena Romero and Diego Valente. The collective specifically focuses on how photographic processes are used in contemporary art.

The London Alternative Photography Collective organises talks, symposia, exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations. Through these activities, the London Alternative Photography Collective aims to disseminate of photographic processes and support practitioners interested in the subject. Overall, the London Alternative Photography Collective provides an open platform for knowledge and skill exchange, where artists can develop their ideas and share their practice.
