INFO

This day of portfolio reviews provides an opportunity for photographers and artists to receive advice from professionals who have a broad range of experience in contemporary photography, spanning curatorial, editorial and educational.

The day runs from 11.00 - 20.00 and is split into daytime and evening sessions. In the daytime, each photographer will receive two, twenty-minute back-to-back sessions.

In the evening an open portfolio group session with additionally invited artists, curators, editors, publishers will take place to provide more feedback and further networking opportunities.

Please note: We regret we're unable to honour specific requests for reviewers or for specific times of day, and each individual may only book one place, which provides you with two reviews.

The reviewers are interested in seeing all types of photographic work.

The reviewers include:

Zelda Cheatle, independent curator, gallerist and editor

Bridget Coaker, Picture Editor, the Guardian and Director, Troika Editions

Clare Grafik, Head of Exhibitions, The Photographers' Gallery

Harry Hardie, Co-Founder of Here Press and Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster

Karen McQuaid, Curator, The Photographers' Gallery

Aaron Schuman, photographer, writer and curator

We've created a format for the day to offer further opportunities and visibility for the selected FreshFaced+WildEyed artists. The reviews will be standard one-on-one sessions for the afternoon and then in the evening it will be an open portfolio group session that will also include the FF+WE artists. Additional invited curators, photo editors and publishers will be present to offer additional feedback and networking.
