Photography and the Senses
Sun 6 Sep, 14.00-17.00
Blur, Jaggers Padda, 2015
What does a photograph sound like? How can you photograph a taste?
An opportunity for children and adults to look at the exhibitions, talk, experiment and make things together. This month's workshop is inspired by the link between photography and sound in our current exhibition We Want More: Image Making and Music in the 21st Century this workshop will explore the links between photography and the senses.
Come along and explore your sense of taste, smell, hearing and touch and turn these sensations into photographs.
Also, take part in our collaborative sense poem that uses a photograph as a stimulus.
All materials will be provided. Note: We will have a live feed connected to Instagram and Twitter so we suggest you bring a camera phone with you that has a Twitter and/or Instagram app.
