Entitled "Look! A Negro" (after Frantz Fanon's Black Skin, White Masks), this event considers some of the themes and ideas in the exhibition Made You Look: Dandyism & Black Masculinity.
The afternoon will consist of discussions, readings and a rare screening of Isaac Julien's Looking for Langston, followed by an early evening of socialising with a pay bar and music.
Ekow Eshun will give a tour of the exhibition and chair two panels on:
Made You Look exhibiting artist Hassan Hajjaj will run his portrait studio in the evening.
