Over 5 weeks of 3-hour interactive classes, students will learn a wide range of iPhone photography skills, including both photo-taking and image processing. The course begins with the essential photo-editing and sharing apps, exploring a range of preset filters, giving participants step-by-step user instructions. It also looks at photo-taking techniques and strategies, as well as general photography skills. It continues with an exploration of apps for advanced image editing allowing highly creative image crafting.

The course is structured around practical tasks and exercises and will involve extra-curricular shooting projects. Participants will also learn how to get involved with the social platforms and sharing forums, both online and offline, where mobile photography is being showcased and discussed. 

Requirements: an iPhone (any model) and around 15 photo apps (to be advised). 

The course is given by Richard Gray (@rugfoot), a leading mobile photographer, educator and writer (www.iphoggy.com) and will take place at the gallery from 14.00 - 17.00 each Saturday.
