Bookshop Specialist Sales Assistant

Bookshop Specialist Sales Assistant (Closes 2 Aug 2021)

Team: Operations (Trading)
Responsible to: Bookshop Manager
Contract: 40 hours per week (days agreed via a monthly rota) 
Salary: £24,000-30,000pa
Pension: 6% of Salary 
Holiday: 23 days per annum pro-rata. 

To work alongside the Bookshop team to develop TPG’s Bookshop as one of the UK’s leading specialist outlets for photography books, magazines, and merchandise. To enhance the Gallery’s visitor experience by providing excellent customer service, specialist knowledge, source publications and maximize merchandise revenues creating an annual surplus which supports the charity’s activities.

Deputy Gallery Manager

Deputy Gallery Manager (Closes 2 Aug 2021)

Team: Operations
Responsible to: Senior Gallery Manager
Contract: 32 hours per week 
Salary: £24,000-£30,000(depending on experience) Pro-rata for 4 days p/w 
Pension: 6% of Salary 
Holiday: 23 days per annum pro-rata. 

The Deputy Gallery Manager’s role is to support the Senior Gallery Manager who is responsible for all aspects of maintaining, monitoring, and improving the Gallery’s building and planning and producing the installation and de-installation of Exhibitions, Events and Projects.

Curator Maternity Cover

Curator Maternity Cover (Closes 2 Aug 2021)

Team: Operations (Trading)
Responsible to:  Programming Team 
Contract: 40 hours a week (Variable Hours) fixed term, maternity cover, 9 months
Salary: £24,000-£30,000 pa
Holiday: 23 days per annum (Pro-rata for 9 months = 17.5 days) 

As Curator at The Photographers’ Gallery your role will focus on curating, organising, managing and administering all aspects of The Photographers’ Gallery’s Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2022 as well as offering general support to the curatorial team. 

We are particularly interested in applications from people from backgrounds which are underrepresented in the museums and galleries sector, including people from low-income backgrounds, people with disabilities and people from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Digital Producer (Digital Programmes)

Digital Producer (Digital Programmes) - Closes 2 Aug 2021

Team: Programming Team 
Responsible to: Curator digital programmes
Contract: 24 hours a week (Variable Hours) Fixed Term, 9 months contract
Full-time Salary: £24,000-£30,000 (Pro-rata for 24 hours per week = £14,000-£18,000pa) 
Holiday: 23 days per annum (Pro-rata = 10.5 days for 9 months 3 days per week)

The Digital Producer works closely with the Curator of Digital Programmes and the Programming Team (exhibitions and education) to manage the development, presentation and implementation of public-facing digital content and technologies as well as research and experimentation projects. 

The post is critical in providing the technical, logistical and relevant practical support arising from the development and delivery of the programme, and in providing professional, efficient and effective support to the programming team more widely.
