Helen Cammock – There's a Hole in the Sky Part 1
Helen Cammock lives and works in London. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2011. She recently presented a solo show titled Shouting in Whispers at Cubitt, London (Oct -Nov 2017), and her work has recently been exhibited and screened at venues including LUX Scotland; in We Suffer To Remain at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas (June 2018), Serpentine Cinema Series, Serpentine Galleries, (2016); Tate Artists Moving Image Screening Programme, Tate Britain (2015); The Tetley, Leeds (2017); Open Source Contemporary Arts Festival (2016); and at Hollybush Gardens Gallery, London (2015/16). Cammock has had work published in The Photographers’ Gallery journal Loose Associations and recently published an artist book and vinyl 12” with Bookworks, London, in April 2017. She has written for Photoworks and Aperture magazine and was shortlisted for the Bridport poetry prize in 2015. She is currently working on a project with Serpentine Galleries and has an upcoming solo show at Void, Derry, in Oct 2018. She will be working on the project Novel as part of Reading International in 2019, a new film commission with Film and Video Umbrella and Touchstones, Rochdale and she is the winner of the 7th edition of The Max Mara Art Prize for Women 2018.
