Paul Hart (b.1961, UK) is a British photographer whose work explores our relationship with the landscape, in both a humanistic and socio-historical sense. His series concentrate on a specific region’s monoculture, where Hart photographs intensively over a number of years. He works solely with black-and-white analogue process, creating handcrafted silver gelatin prints in a traditional darkroom.
Hart's first monograph 'Truncated' was awarded the Prix de la Photographie PX3 in Paris in 2009. Paul Hart’s first solo exhibition took place at The Photographers’ Gallery in 2018. Read more here.
