Shirley Baker
Shirley Baker (1932 - 2014) was one of Britain’s most compelling yet underexposed social documentary photographers.
Thought to be the only woman practicing street photography in Britain during the post-war era, her warm and witty images capture the everyday lives of those living across Britain during a period of industrial decline and social neglect.
