The Photographers' Gallery is an independent, public gallery, established in 1971. We are in the process of cataloguing material related to our past exhibitions, talks, events and projects, as well as our building and functions as an independent, public organisation.
Our Archive documents the Gallery’s institutional history.
Archival material includes exhibition-related publications, posters, installation and press images, catalogues and correspondence; recorded talks from photographers and visiting specialists; video interviews with exhibiting artists; marketing and design material, and other ephemera.

Archive enquiries and access
Access to the Archive is arranged by appointment.
Please email all enquiries and visit requests to email@example.com – and include details of dates, exhibition titles or artist names where relevant.
The Archive team will respond with a list of suitable and available materials, and suggest dates for an appointment. Please allow up to three weeks for an email response, and await email confirmation of your visit.
The Photographers’ Gallery Archive is staffed Tuesday to Thursday each week, and is located on the Eranda Studio floor (3rd floor).
