Accessibility & General Info

The Photographers' Gallery can be accessed via level entrance from Ramillies Street, off Great Marlborough Street.  The building is DDA compliant and has a lift to all floors. There are wheelchair accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on the third and fifth floors.

Assistance dogs are welcome. A water bowl is available on request.

The galleries are air-conditioned throughout.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer cloakroom facilities or lockers and cannot store personal belongings, luggage or other bulky items.  We apologise for any inconvenience.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries.

The use of mobile phones is discouraged in the galleries as this disrupts other visitors’ experience.

Each year, we can offer up to four British Sign Language-interpreted exhibition tours, with a minimum of two weeks advance notice. Entry to talks and events is free for carers accompanying visitors with a disability. See the Talks & Events section of our website for our current programme. Please email to make a request.

The Photographers' Gallery is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for staff, artists and visitors.
