Accessibility & General Info
The Photographers' Gallery is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and accessibility for staff, artists and visitors.
The main entrance is at street level on Ramillies Street, off Great Marlborough Street. The building is DDA compliant and has a lift to all floors. We have wheelchair accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on the third and fifth floors.
Assistance dogs are welcome. A water bowl is available on request.
Each year, we can offer up to four British Sign Language-interpreted exhibition tours, with a minimum of two weeks advance notice. Entry to talks and events is free for carers accompanying visitors with a disability. See the Talks & Events section of our website for our current programme. Please email email@example.com to make a request.
Photography is encouraged everywhere. Any questions welcomed at our info desk. Our galleries are air-conditioned throughout and fully accessible by lift and stairs.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries and mobile phone usage is discouraged so as not to disrupt other visitors’ experience.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer cloakroom facilities or lockers and do not have the capacity to store personal belongings, luggage or other bulky items. We apologise for any inconvenience.
