Biographies

Emma Agnes Sheffer is an artist and film maker based on Dena’ina Ełnena, Anchorage, Alaska. Emma studied both film & television production and fine art at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. 

John Yuyi is a Taiwanese visual artist whose practice explores various aspects of social media, photography and post-internet. Strongly influenced by her interest and experience in modelling, photography, and fashion design, Yuyi's work is placed at the intersection of youth culture, fame and biting social commentary. She studied fashion design at Shih Chien University, after which she launched her swimwear collection and interned with internationally renowned artist and designer Jason Wu. Since 2014, Yuyi has been utilising the human body as a canvas, making her statements using "temporary tattoo" as her primary art form.
