"The lady seated is my great great grandmother. Her name is Margaret Dillon and the story in my family is that she is actually a Dalton who changed her name. She is also supposed to have married a Cherokee man from which we have inherited our Cherokee blood of which we are all very proud. Is it true? I don't know. But this seated lady is responsible for the most intriguing aspects of our family history. The rest is tame in comparison."
