Hear Anke Loots and Nonzuzo Gxekwa in conversation with curator Julie Bonzon
To mark their current exhibition at The Photographers’ Gallery Print Sales, join artists Anke Loots and Nonzuzo Gxekwa as they give insight into photographic practice in South Africa today. The discussion will be moderated by art historian and guest exhibition curator Dr Julie Bonzon. These two photographers are part of a new initiative, The Photographic Collective, a not-for-profit enterprise that aims to bring visibility to artists living and working in Africa, especially those without gallery representation. Through their distinct visual narratives, both Loots and Gxekwa seek beauty in the every day, creating empowering and lyrical representations of South Africa, its people and places.
Details on how to access the talk will be confirmed upon registration. Please check your junk folders if you haven't received an email from TPG staff confirming your place.

Pay What You Can
In light of the unprecedented challenges we are all facing at this time, we have introduced Pay What You Can ticketing for many of our online talks and events.
Anyone can book on to one of these events and pay as much or as little as they are able. A typical ticket would cost between £5 and £8. Any more than that is greatly appreciated and goes directly into supporting our public programmes.
By booking for this event you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
