Molly Soda led a collaborative, real-time Desktop Dump performance. She walked the viewers through the files on her desktop, while cleaning, organising and uploading them to her Desktop Dump Archive. The artist encouraged participants to submit files from their own desktops creating a collaborative visual collage reflecting on notions of intimacy and diaristic practices within networked culture.

Molly Soda is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Nearly all of her work lives online, as she uses a variety of social media platforms to host her work, allowing the work to evolve and interact with the platforms themselves. Soda makes videos, installations, and web-based, interactive works that touch on concepts around performing the self, memory, aspiration, and consumer culture.
