This event is part of our Past Programme

To coincide with the current display of Helen Cammock's new commission Concrete Feathers and Porcelain Tacks, we are holding a special talk featuring the artist. Moderated by curator Lewis Dalton Gilbert. This event takes place online and will be live streamed from the Gallery.

Biography

Lewis Dalton Gilbert is a freelance curator and the creative director at A Vibe Called Tech, focusing on the creative strategy, execution, and art direction within the company. Following his BA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, he went on to coordinate and produce exhibitions and projects for White Cube and Frieze. In 2016, he co-founded ROLE, a podcast created to discuss defining roles and strengthen communal bonds within underrepresented communities. ROLE now acts as an online forum seeking to achieve the same. Lewis is also one of Jenn Nkiru’s executive producers and is working with the artist on several upcoming projects.
