Using photography, film, performance and text, Rene Matić considers notions of intimacy, identity and belonging, foregrounding personal experience as a way of addressing broader social and political realities. 

In this talk, Matić will discuss their recent work and artistic approach, reflecting on themes of race, class and queerness, and the role of tenderness, friendship and everyday life.
