Alys Tomlinson grew up in Brighton, UK. Her major body of work Ex-Voto explored Christian pilgrimage sites in Europe and was published by GOST Books in 2019. Her series Lost Summer documented teenagers in north London who had their proms cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Her work is held in several collections and recent awards include: Winner of Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2020; Prix Elysée, Nominee, 2020-2022; Rencontres d’Arles New Discovery Award 2019, Shortlist & Public Prize Winner; Photographer of the Year Award at the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards.
Emma Hardy was born in London, and studied Drama & French at Bristol University before living in Paris. She worked as an actor on returning to London but realised she preferred to work behind the lens. By this time she was living in rural Suffolk, the setting for much of her personal photographic work, raising her young family. Her first solo exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery “Exceptional Youth” in 2006 let to further commissions & exhibitions at the NPG and elsewhere. Emma contributes to a range of international publications, returning to personal family work whenever she can.
Carol Allen-Storey is an award-winning photojournalist specialising in chronicling complex humanitarian and social issues. In 2009, Storey was appointed a UNICEF ambassador for photography. She regularly hosts talks and events for the AOP (The Association of Photographers).
