Peter Mitchell (b.1943, UK) is widely regarded as a key colour photographer of the 1970s and 80s. Join this tour in British Sign Language with historian John Wilson.

A powerful storyteller and social historian, Peter Mitchell’s photography unfolds a longstanding and poetic connection with Leeds. He has chronicled the people and places, and the demolition and development of the city with warmth and familiarity for over 40 years.

John Wilson is a freelance historian. He currently works as a BSL lecturer and guide for a number of high profile institutions including the National Gallery, Historic Royal Palaces, Royal Academy and Science Museum, London.
