Join this session where Bet Bettencourt will be facilitating a Pay Your Shooter hands-on workshop all things image sequencing; the art of arranging your photos to shape a story.
Whether you're putting together a photo book, a zine, or just figuring out how your images connect, this beginner friendly session will help you explore how the order and flow of your photos can change how they’re seen and felt.
We’ll cover creative approaches like:
- Building a story using photos
- How to pick your best images
- How to crop effectively
You’ll get to experiment, get feedback, and start putting together a sequence that feels personal and meaningful. By the end, you’ll have a working layout for a project or photo series — and some fresh tools for thinking about visual storytelling using your own work as reference.
No experience needed. All materials provided — just bring your curiosity (and your photos, if you’ve got some!)
This event is part of our Develop programme. The programme is a new initiative that supports young people (aged 18-24) to work towards a commissioning opportunity with The Photographers’ Gallery.
