This event is part of our Past Programme

Getting feedback and advice on your work is essential for personal development. This in-person portfolio review will provide you with feedback from two practitioners that will help your projects to the next stage. We’ll hear a short talk by both reviewers followed by 1:1 portfolio reviews and an opportunity to share work and get feedback from other participating artists/photographers in a networking environment.

You will have the chance to meet with both of the following reviewers for 8 minutes each:

  • Eddie Otchere
  • Adeolu Osibodu

Participants are required to stay for the full event. More details and instructions to follow via email after booking.

Eddie Otchere Biography

Eddie Otchere is best known for his photographs of the seminal rappers and DJs of the mid 1990s and early noughties. His celebrated works include portraits of Biggie Smalls, Blackstar (Mos Def & Thalib Kweli) So Solid Crew, Est’elle, Goldie, Omar and many others, as well as his official coverage of the Metalheadz: Blue Note sessions 1994 -1996. Since 1993 Otchere’s photographs have been exhibited and published worldwide, including on the covers of major international magazines such as Urb, Lodown and Mixmag and on the covers of some of rap music’s seminal albums.

Adeolu Osibodu

Adeolu Osibodu (B .1997) is a Photographer/Photo-Artist from Lagos, Nigeria. Based in London, United Kingdom. Adeolu, from a young age has constantly been drawn between dreams and ideas. Inspired by life and his experiences, Adeolu witnesses’ moments in time that express a sense of multi reality, hallucination and a feeling of lost memory. His work with images portrays a peculiar notion of the fleeting of time with an underlying regard for sentiment.

Bursary places

Bursary places are reserved for 14-24-year-olds who identify as experiencing economic, social or educational disadvantage. These are offered the basis of trust, in order to ensure anonymity. If you are not experiencing economic, social or educational disadvantage, please purchase a ticket.
