Shiraz Randeria Biography

London-born Shiraz Randeria graduated from a Communication Arts degree and went straight into the world of freelance pop culture and travel journalism and photography. He learnt how to create and pitch article ideas and has contributed to Time Out, The Guardian, The Times, NME, The Face, Sleeper, Mondo, Nowness and Wallpaper.

Eventually he took on a staff job as Features Editor, then Editor of Intersection, a former sister magazine to Dazed. This led him to working in Tokyo, New York and then in Shanghai where he headed the magazine's China Edition as Creative and Editorial Director.

Now co-founder of an art book publishing company, Twentyfour Thirtysix, he still pitches but these days it is not for magazine articles but for business and larger scale creative collaboration projects. However, the basic ideas for successful pitching remain the same.
