Folio Fridays are our regular in-person portfolio review and networking sessions for photographers and artists working with photography.
These sessions are free for participating photographers and include two presentations by photography professionals, as well as time for a complimentary lunch and networking with participating photographers. As part of this session, each photographer will receive two, 15-minute one-to-one reviews from the two photography professionals and an opportunity to share work with other participating artists/photographers, as well as gallery visitors.
This session's reviewers are Hanna-Katrina Jędrosz and Ryan Prince.
The session is closed to the public from noon to 14.00 for reviewer presentations, lunch and discussion. From 14.00 to 17.00, we open the door to gallery visitors. In this way, Folio Friday creates opportunities for the public to view and discuss work with presenting photographers and is included with exhibition entrance.
Additional information for presenting photographers:
- If you're a photographer or artist wanting feedback on your work or a recent project – either completed or in progress – Folio Fridays are there to support you.

Biographies:
Ryan Prince is a photographic artist and researcher that has a particular interest in exploring the polylithic nature of black identities, specifically his own identity as a Black British male from the Jamaican Diaspora. He explores how self-representation within visual languages such as photography may lead to a better psychological fortitude, for creators and viewers alike. He has exhibited with institutions such as the Black Cultural Archives, The National Portrait Gallery and The Royal Photographic Society, also having work appear in publications by The British Journal of Photography, It’s Nice That and Photoworks. He was awarded a bursary from the Martin Parr Foundation where his work can be found as part of the collection.
London-based Hanna-Katrina Jędrosz makes documentary work with a focus on narratives about place, people and environment. She photographs for editorials, and collaborates with musicians and bands, authors, theatre and film makers. Alongside her creative practice, she is an Associate Lecturer at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London and a freelance Picture Editor. She also founded and run Photo Scratch. Previously she was Picture Researcher and Picture Editor for The Sunday Times Online, and Picture Editor at Reuters on the Wider Image Picture Desk.
A very open and innovative portfolio review.
