After managing a high achieving Photography department at Kingsdale Foundation school for over a decade, in 2020 Elle began facilitating within community settings and for art institutions. She designed and delivered the curriculum model for the EPQ in Photography at The Photographers' Gallery, and now manages Learning and Access Programmes for Frameless Creative. Elle taught pupils undertaking the EPQ in Photography at The Photographers' Gallery from 2021- 2025.

The Photographers’ Gallery has been running an EPQ in Photography programme in partnership with London schools since 2021.

State schools in the John Lyon's Charity priority boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea and the Cities of London and Westminster are invited to work in partnership with The Photographers' Gallery to support pupils to achieve their Extended Project Qualification.

Most pupils produce an artefact for their EPQ. They are supported and guided through lectures and workshops at the gallery that take place during school holidays and on weekends.

Beginning in 2025, we are organising a series of sessions with teachers, and educators in arts organisations, to share knowledge and invite ideas for how this model could support pupils interested in other creative subjects. The aim is to produce a resource that encourages further, collaborative ways of working between schools and arts organisations.
