In 2018, Guido Segni created a five year plan called "Demand Full Laziness". He promised to delegate all his artistic production to forms of automation. For this Screen Walk, Segni will gave a desktop performance of the works that helped make his laziness productive.

Screen Walk with Guido Segni

Screen Walks is a new series of live-streamed artist/researcher-led explorations of online spaces and artistic strategies designed to illuminate a thriving – often overlooked – digital cultural scene. A new online collaboration between The Photographers’ Gallery, UK and Fotomuseum Winterthur, Switzerland.

Biography

Guido Segni — also known as Guy McMusker — b. 1986, Italy. With a background in hacktivism, net art and video art, he lives and works somewhere, online and offline, playing with art, internet culture and data hallucinations. Mainly focused on the daily (ab)use of the Internet, his work is characterized by minimal gestures on technology which combines conceptual approaches with a traditional hacker attitude in making things odd, useless and dysfunctional.
