Continuing with our series Against Boredom, join artist Alejandra Carles-Tolra on our third two-day workshop, On Nature and Gesture where we reflect on our relationship to our local natural environment and the role it has in igniting our creativity

Conceived as a response to the time we are currently in, this workshop invites participants to take inspiration from familiar local environments to map and construct imaginary landscapes. Split across two Saturdays, we will use photography to explore language and gesture. In between sessions participants will be invited to engage in outdoors walks.

This workshop is the third one in a series of events with artist Alejandra Carles-Tolra and will draw inspiration from artists like Rinko Kawauchi, Barbara Wosworth, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Paul Mpagi Sepuya and Olivia Laing, among others. Each session will include creative exercises, themed group discussions, and opportunities to share work and experiment with collaborative practices.
