Archive & Study Room
The Photographers' Gallery is an independent, public gallery, established in 1971. We are in the process of cataloguing material related to our past exhibitions, talks, events and projects, as well as our building and functions as an independent, public organisation.
Archive material includes press images, catalogues and other exhibition-related publications, recorded talks by photographers and other specialists and video interviews with exhibiting artists, as well as marketing material, correspondence and other ephemera.
The Archive is located on the Eranda Studio floor (3rd floor) where a selection of catalogued material can be accessed by appointment. Other material, yet to be catalogued, remains either in on-site or off-site storage.
A list of exhibitions taking place at, or organised by, The Photographers’ Gallery since 1971 can be accessed here.
