Family Photography Now, directive and week 28: What do your festive gatherings look like?
“In Argentina the family is sacred. Don’t even think of skipping a Sunday dinner, a birthday or Christmas – I began taking photographs of my extended family for Christmas, there are parents, grandparents and great grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins, in-laws, twins and a new born – eighteen in total. We are a big, loud, playful family. When we get together we hug and kiss, laugh and joke a lot. There are so many different attitudes and emotions at work.”
