This event is part of the Develop youth programme which is open to 14 to 24 year olds. Please only sign up if you are within the age bracket.

From challenging stereotypes to documenting protests, to staying safe and being heard, this online talk will delve into all aspects of photography and its relationship to activism.

We’ll be joined by photographers Lina Geoushy and Rafał Milach, who after making short presentations about their practices, will share their experiences, tips, and advice for those looking to deepen social issues within their work. 

This talk will be on Zoom and will run from 18.30 - 19.30.

About Lina Geoushy

Lina Geoushy is a photographer working across the spectrum of social documentary and portrait photography. She aims to tell stories that deconstruct and question the public's perception of the prevailing power of patriarchy.

About Rafał Milach

Rafał Milach is a visual artist, activist, photographer, and educator. His work focuses on the tension between society and power structures. Author of protest books and critical publications on state control.
