Images of Earth that were sent into space with the Voyager Space Probe, published in a book by Carl Sagan called 'Murmurs of Earth - The Voyager Interstellar Record'
Text from a 'Future Programme' (from Sue Davies' Archive):
'The Voyager Space probe carried 100 images into outer-space to be de-coded should it ever reach a civilisation similar to our own. We are showing these images together with the reasons for their choice. There will also be a selection of pictures sent back to earth from The Voyager of other planets and a programme on the method of Computer Enhancing of pictures prepared for us by The North East London Polytechnic.
Curated by Professor F. D Drake and Amahl Shakhashiri
