Coinciding with the presentation of Home is Not a Place, hear photographer and writer Johny Pitts and poet Roger Robinson in conversation

This event is part of our Past Programme

In this new talk featuring Johny Pitts and Roger Robinson, the exhibiting photographer and the poet discuss their experiences travelling across the British coast as they seek answers to the question ‘what is Black Britain?’ The resulting publication from which this exhibition takes its name contemplates all the possibilities and definitions of home – particularly what it means for those living in diaspora.

Together they will talk through their journey and friendship, and where they hope their collaboration positions the stories of Black lives in the histories of this country. Moderated by Shoair Mavlian, Director of The Photographers’ Gallery.

Details on how to access this event will be confirmed upon registration. Please check your junk folders if you haven't received an email from TPG staff confirming your place.
