About Develop

Develop is a three-year programme (2023-2026) that supports and commissions emerging creatives aged 18-24 through a series of talks and workshops around a photography-based outcome each year. 

The theme for 2023/4 is Making an Exhibition, with a focus on photography and archives. A programme of workshops and talks support this theme, providing participants with an introduction to a range of knowledge and skills related to making an exhibition. 

18-24-year-olds can apply to become part of a cohort of six people who will collectively research, plan and deliver an exhibition and related events programme at The Photographers’ Gallery, opening in Summer 2024. Applications open on 15 December, and close on 3 January 2024.
