Join staff at The Photographers’ Gallery for a session designed to help you understand what to consider when applying for creative commissions. This session coincides with the application window for the Develop Collective Commission for Extended Realities, which closes on 6 January 2025.
Rawanne Koumaira (Curator, Youth Programmes) and Arieh Frosh (Producer, Digital Programme) offer useful information and insights on the commissioning application process.
The session includes:
- tips on how to strengthen your application
- expectations for those joining the collection
- key things to look for in a job description, including responsibilities, required skills, hours and fees
- the application process for the Develop Collective 2024/25Â
- an introduction to Extended Reality (XR), for those who haven’t joined our XR previous sessions
There will also be time for questions.
This is a great opportunity to get the information you need to apply with confidence.
This event is part of our Develop programme. The programme is a new initiative that supports young people (aged 18-24) to work towards a commissioning opportunity with The Photographers’ Gallery.
