Visitor Experience Assistants - Casual
We’re looking for Visitor Experience Assistants to join our friendly, visitor‑focused team at The Photographers’ Gallery on a casual basis. If you enjoy working with people to create a warm, welcoming experience, then this role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant cultural venue.
The Photographers’ Gallery explores how photography is connecting and reshaping our world today. Across our exhibitions, talks, workshops, digital programmes and commercial spaces, we aim to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all visitors.
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you’ll help ensure every visitor has a positive experience. You’ll welcome people into the Gallery, provide clear and helpful information about exhibitions and events, sell tickets and memberships, and help maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere across all our public spaces. You’ll also support other areas of the Gallery, such as the Café, Bookshop and Print Sales Gallery, as part of a flexible, collaborative team (with full training provided).
You’ll help gather visitor feedback, support events, assist visitors with access needs, and help keep the Gallery running smoothly throughout the day. You’ll also play a key role in promoting memberships, Gift Aid and other activities that support the Gallery’s work.
