Teen Tours

Short public tours of our exhibitions by 14-19-year-olds

Teen Tours aims to develop young people’s critical thinking and public speaking skills, using the exhibitions as a springboard. Each speaker is encouraged to draw on their own experience and ideas to give audiences a unique take on the show.

The Photographers’ Gallery is currently working with pupils and teaching staff at non-mainstream schools on this programme.

About Teen Tours

The Teen Tours programme was established in 2005. Each young speaker takes part in six mentoring sessions, meets gallery staff and, where possible, exhibiting artists.
