Talk: Reshaping the Feminine

Explore the evolving aesthetics of femininity in this talk featuring Eugenie Shinkle and other key voices in the field

In this discussion, we look at how evolving expressions of femininity are expressed in fashion and photography. This event coincides with our current presentation of Deborah Turbeville’s work, which challenges traditional representations of gender and identity. Featuring artist and researcher Eugenie Shinkle and photographer and filmmaker Max Barnett, we look at the shifting visual language of femininity, examining themes of fluidity, transformation and disruption in visual culture.
