Imagin(in)g Networks

02 Dec 2020 - 10 Jan 2022

Imagin(in)g Networks is a year-long programme of events and commissions, exploring the existing and potential networks that use images to enable human and machine interactions.

Human and machine networks have an enormous impact on our lives and planet. The accelerated dependence of these visual systems has increased in recent years, superseding the role that even their creators and critics had envisioned.

Over the course of a year, the social, political, technological and environmental impacts of image networks will be examined through artist commissions, texts, workshops and events.
